Right next to Conchal Beach, there is a more secret and virgin beach that everyone should visit. Mina Beach (also called Zapotillal) also has crystal clear water and white sand, but it’s usually less crowded.

This beach is another hidden gem in Guanacaste Province! Mina Beach has a secret trail right next to the beach that takes you to Punta Sabana, a place where you can have a panoramic view of Playa Conchal and Playa Flamingo.

Mina Beach is not a long beach but it’s wide enough to do plenty of activities. During the weekends, people bring their BBQ grills, tents, and hammocks to spend the entire day there. The access to this beach is through a dirt road, and like the others, there are no facilities nearby (the closest supermarket is around 10min by car).
There might not be supermarkets or restaurants nearby in case you forget something but there will be a magical atmosphere to relax.
