About Your Costa Rica Adventure

Hi! My name is Felipe! I was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. After living some time outside Costa Rica, I’ve realized how blessed I’ve been my whole life! Costa Rica is a beautiful country, full of biodiversity (4% of the world’s biodiversity as a matter of fact), authentic and kind people everywhere that are always willing to give you a hand, and let’s add to all that, one of the most amazing weathers in the world.

I have also realized many people don’t know much about Costa Rica. Some think we live in a jungle in the middle of Central America or an island in the Caribbean. Don’t get me wrong, I know some people know a lot about Costa Rica, but they are usually the minority.

It’s a shame that I had to go outside to realize how fortunate I have been, but it’s something that won’t happen again. Now that I am back, my mission is to show everyone around the world how amazing my country is in a unique way. Like if I was helping out my German or Indian friend for their trip to Costa Rica!

Conchal Beach, Guanacaste
From now on (January 2021), I will start traveling every time I or Covid restrictions allow me to travel inside my country. I will grab my backpack, camera, maybe a couple of friends, and hit the road! I will show you all the touristic places my country offers, but not just the places they tell you about in big travel agencies or famous international travel blogs, I will show you the locals hidden gems.

Manuel Antonio, La Fortuna, Puerto Viejo, Santa Teresa are unique places; you will find a blog post about those places sooner or later here. Still, I would like to go further by telling you things about these places that you will hardly find elsewhere, something you can do, eat, do again, rest, have fun and much more.

How about if in one day you have breakfast in Costa Rica’s capital city, San José, climb a volcano in the morning, and at the end of the day, watch a fantastic sunset on a sandy beach, all in less than 24 hours, are you in for the adventure?

Pura vida!
Felipe
