Hi! My name is Felipe! I was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. After spending some time abroad, I came to truly appreciate the beauty and wonder of my home country. Inspired by this realization, I started this blog to share my love for Costa Rica and to help others plan their perfect visit to this amazing place.

All the content on this website is written by me with the aim of helping visitors plan their Costa Rica adventure. I’ve personally visited most of the places I talk about, and the rest come highly recommended by close friends and family.

A bit about me: I love hiking and nature, which is why I’m so passionate about Costa Rica. My favorite beach is Playa Mina, my favorite hikes are in Bajos del Toro, and my favorite Costa Rican dish is tortilla aliñada.
